IFSS vaccination rules apply
For all dogs present on the stake out area – including dogs not racing – following vaccinations are required:
Rabies, Distemper, Canine Parvovirus and the Canine Kennel Cough Complex (canine Adenovirus type 2, Parainfluenza Virus, Bordetella bronchiseptica).
All vaccinations have to be stated in the vaccination card by the vet, including the validity date.
Dogs without valid vaccination have to leave the stake out area immediately.
The vet team will check the vaccination cards before the race.
Notes:
All vaccines must have been administered at least 21 days prior to the race.
For the Canine Kennel Cough Complex intranasal, oral or injectable vaccines are allowed, as long as all components are covered.
The VDSV strongly recommends vaccination against Canine Leptospirosis, but it is not mandatory.
